What is the personal statement?
This is the students’ opportunity to sell themselves and to convince an admissions tutor that they are suitable for and committed to an appropriate course of study.
Who writes the reference?
Sixth Form tutors write the reference using details provided by subject tutors and the students themselves, as well as their own knowledge of the students. References are started in June/July and are checked by senior staff before being sent to UCAS.
